  • This is the official platform for applying to the Eramus Mundus Master EGEI. 

    All applications received by February 28th 2026  automatically considered for the following Master EGEI scholarships (*)

    • n. 3 tuition fees waivers for PARTNER COUNTRY APPLICANTS (each scholarship has the value of 8000€ per year)
    • n. 3 tuition fees waivers for PROGRAMME COUNTRY APPLICANTS (each scholarship has the value of 2500€ per year)

    (*) We will NOT offer Erasmus Mundus scholarships the following academic year but the best candidates will be offered total or partial tuition fees rebates.

    All the applications submitted up to the deadlines will be evaluated and ranked. Eligible students who are accepted but have not got a sholarship can enroll as self funded-students.

    Applications submitted beyond these deadlines cannot be considered for scholarships. However, all the applicants submitting before May 30th 2026 can enroll as self-funded students if they are accepted and considered eligiblee.

  • Application package: required documents
    (get these documents ready before you start the online application)

    Please check that you have electronic versions or scanned copies of the following documents (together with their English translation if the original document is not in English):

    • Your passport or another official identity document (not expired)
    • Your proof of residence (see FAQ’s for proof of residence that are accepted)
    • Your up-to-date curriculum vitae in Europass format
    • Your proof of English proficiency (see FAQs for proofs of English proficiency that are accepted or exemptions) and do not make a request of interview
    • Your graduation certificate (at least for bachelor) if you have completed you bachelor studies
    • Your official transcript of records with study results (at least for bachelor) and an official copy of the degree certificate(s)*
    • Your letter of motivation
    • The following information on one to three reference persons (**), who must be informed that they will receive a request for a reference letter from the EGEI selection panel: Full Name, Function, Institution, Professionnal address, e-mail address. The first reference person must be an academic
    • (optional) All the other documents you want to provide for proving skills and qualifications

    * Verification of original documents. We require that all admitted applicants submit their original degree certificates and documents for verification upon arrival in the first hosting Institution.

    ** Note that referees will be invited at a later stage directly by the EGEI selection board and only for candidates with high evaluation of other criterias (generally the top 20-25% of all applicants). 

     

    IMPORTANT: it will be possible to go back to incomplete submissions as you will receive a link to the application form. Note that once submitted your application cannot be further modified or new documents added.

    You are allowed to post one application only. If you post several applications, only the first one will be considered. All the further applications will be ignored. Then, you are encouraged to manage your application with caution before submission, as there will be no further possibility to correct mistakes.

    The documents must be uploaded in the right place (for example, a diploma in the window asking to upload your diploma). Documents that are misplaced will be ignored. If you want to upload a document that is not explicitly demanded, you will be able to do it at the end of your application

    Do not include any reference letter in the application. They will be ignored and, moreover, you may be penalised if you try to upload a reference letter. We use the information you give us for sending requests to reference persons. We only use the reference letters sent after these requests.

    Please strictly follow the instructions. It is what we expect from a good applicant. You may be penalised for not following the instructions

  • In this section, you will have to answer questions about your English proficiency. The rules are the following:

    You do not need to provide a proof of your English proficiency if:

    • You are a native of a country where English is the official language
    • Your qualifying degree (bachelor’s/undergraduate degree) was fully taken in a country where English is the language of instruction

     It you have followed a bachelor or master program that is fully taught in English, you have to prove it: the fact that the language of instruction is English must be mentioned on the diploma or the transcript, or you can provide an official certificate

    Otherwise, a valid proof of English Proficiency is:

    • a document from the Language Department of your university (in English) certifying that your English proficiency level is CEFR B2 at least
    • or the result of an official test. The tests we accept are (other tests, for example Duolingo, are not accepted)
      • IELTS
      • TOEFL
      • Cambridge

    If you fail to provide this valid proof, you are not eligible

    However, you can ask the Selection Committee to evaluate your English directly
