Property Owner: Dara Knot and The Farm at Paradise LLC

Under South Carolina law, an equine activity sponsor or equine professional is not liable for an injury to or the death of a participant in an equine activity resulting from an inherent risk of equine activity, pursuant to Article 7, Chapter 9 of Title 47, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976.

Therefore, in consideration of the use, today and on all future dates, of the property, facilities and equipment of the Property Owner, their agents, successors, or assigns, the Participant, his/her heirs, assigns, parents, and legal representatives assume any and all risks involved in or arising from Participant's use of Property owner's services or presence on Property Owner's property or facilities.

The Participant thereby waives and releases forever all claims for damages against DARA KNOT AND THE FARM AT PARADISE LLC, its members or its principals, employees, agents, (including the insurance companies that insure both entities) and AGREES NOT TO SUE them on account of or in connection with any claims, causes of action, injuries, damages, costs or expenses the participant may incur or sustain while on the premises of DARA KNOT AND THE FARM AT PARADISE LLC.

Participant agrees to abide by all of owner’s rules and regulations as they now exist or as they may be amended from time to time.

In particular, Participant agrees to wear a properly fitted and secured ASTM/SEI certified protective equestrian headgear when riding horses as well as appropriate riding footgear and equipment/tack appropriate to the job being preformed by horse and rider. AS WELL AS a certified Cross- Country vest while using the cross country course.

It is the responsibility of the Participant to carry full and complete insurance coverage on him/herself.

No outside dogs are allowed on the property. Any loose dog is the responsibility of the owner and DARA KNOT AND THE FARM AT PARADISE LLC can not be held liable for any injury or death that occurs to dog. Owner is responsible fully for any costs associated with their dog injuring another dog on the property or a human. Any dogs who live at DARA KNOT AND THE FARM AT PARADISE LLC are not to be held liable for any injury to an outside dog. The signer of this agreement is responsible for any dogs associated with their party, even if not directly owner.
