The Western Pennsylvania Bleeding Disorders Foundation realizes hardship can strike at any time. We believe every child deserves to experience the joy of gifts in the holiday season. Our Holiday Gift Program is open to members of the Western Pennsylvania Bleeding Disorders Foundation with children ages 0-18 living in their household. This fund will provide one holiday gift (up to $50 value) per child aged 0-18. Applications must be submitted by November 29, 2024. Funds for the Holiday Gift Program are limited and will be granted on a first come, first served basis. This program will end when the funds have been depleted.
Eligibility:
1. The applicant is a member of the Western Pennsylvania Bleeding Disorders Foundation with a bleeding disorder or lives in the same physical household as a person with a bleeding disorder. Family must be fully registered with the WPBDF. If not, the family will be asked to complete a membership form before receiving assistance.
2. The household income has significantly decreased and applicant is struggling to provide holiday gifts this season.
3. Each child aged 0-18, who has a bleeding disorder or is living in the household with the person who has a bleeding disorder, is eligible to receive a gift, up to a $50 value.
4. Applications must be received by November 29, 2024.
Application Process:
1. Submit your application by answering and submitting the following questions by November 29, 2024.
2. A WPBDF staff member will review the application and contact the applicant to confirm information. Staff may also share additional resources that may help the household.
3. When the application is approved, a holiday gift will be mailed directly to the household.
