2025 Food & Beverage Vendor Application

Once the screening process is complete in early December, you will be contacted and a Vendor Agreement for Food and Beverage Sales will be executed. The Vendor Agreement will set forth your agreement with the City, including payment/revenue terms.

If selected, vendors will be provided space for their vending unit and electricity access. The City will waive all permit and space fees for operation at the event. After the event, the vendor must reconcile their sales receipts and within 7 business days return an amount equal to 10% of their total sales (gross sales for for-profit vendors, and net sales for non-profit vendors) to the City of Sequim.

If selected, you will be required to provide a copy of your Certificate of Insurance that names the City of Sequim (152 W Cedar Street) as additional insured. This must be received by the Sunshine Festival no later than February 14, 2025.

If a selected vendor intends to sell alcoholic beverages at the event (with the City's permission only), a special addendum to the Vendor Agreement will be completed. The alcoholic beverages will be restricted to an agreed list, must be sold and consumed only in a designated area, and must be portioned for service, sale, or distribution in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations. Vendor will be required to possess and post all licenses and permits and carry appropriate alcohol insurance.

Selected vendors may display menu- and price-related information. No other sign, petition, poster, or other printed material is allowed to be distributed or displayed.

I, the undersigned, hereby grant to the City of Sequim and its successors, assigns, and licensees ("City") any and all rights, title, and interest in and to any photographic or video image of me taken on March 7 or 8, 2025 ("Images") for any lawful purpose, in any format, and in all media (print, video, online, and internet), without payment or other consideration to me. The City has the right to copyright, use, and publish the Images for a variety of purposes, including but not limited to publicity, marketing, advertising, public relations, illustration, online and web content. I understand and agree that the Images may be used with or without my name. I hereby hold harmless, release, and forever discharge the City, its officers, officials, employees, and volunteers, from and against any and all claims, demands, causes of action, obligations, liabilities and expenses, known or unknown, direct or indirect, relating in any manner to this Release and/or to the Images. I have read this Release before signing and fully understand its content, meaning, and impact. If the person photographed is under 18 years old, I certify that I am their parent or legal guardian and give my consent and agreement to this Release.

For and in consideration of my participation in the Sequim Sunshine Festival, I release, acquit, and forever discharge the City, its officers, officials, employees, and volunteers from any and all claims, demands, damages, costs, actions, or liability on account of, or in any way growing out of, any and all known and unknown, foreseen and unforeseen bodily injuries or death, or damage to property resulting from or by reason of my participation in, or transportation to or from, any activity in any way related to the Sequim Sunshine Festival.
