We are thrilled to announce the availability of scholarships for the 2025 Montana Soil Health Symposium in Billings!
Co-hosted by the Montana Association of Conservation Districts (MACD) and the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), this annual event focuses on regenerative agriculture principles and draws over 400 producers and conservation advocates from Montana and neighboring states.
Scholarship funding from the Plank Stewardship Initiative (PSI) will prioritize applicants from the Northern Great Plains region, while additional funding from MACD expands this opportunity to districts and producers statewide. Through this scholarship program, we aim to increase the accessibility of education and resources that will make an impact on conservation efforts across the state.
Eligible applicants include Montana conservation district staff and supervisors who have not previously attended the Soil Health Symposium, as well as female producers, beginning producers, and producers belonging to under-represented communities.
Each scholarship will cover:
- Cost of one full registration to the 2025 Montana Soil Health Symposium (including the pre-conference workshop)
- 2 Nights lodging at the Billings Hotel and Convention Center
- Travel Expenses (mileage and per diem)
