The PDA and BID work together to create a fun and festive environment for people to come out, shop, and enjoy our downtown. The holiday season is fast approaching and we want to bring you these incredible opportunities to market your business and connect with the community.

Let us know what you are planning for the day, and we will share it on our website and and social media. Deals / activity ideas include - music, special discounts, holiday treats, face painting, cookie making, music, hot chocolate, cider, etc.

2 CHOOSE A HOLIDAY THEME TO BRING IN SOME CHEER! We encourage all businesses to help create a festive environment downtown by decorating storefront windows. We use the tagline "With Love from Petaluma." Let us know if you plan to be extra festive, and we will add you to the lighted driving tour map!

Post about your festivities on our social media.
Advertise the Holiday Retail Season on the radio, online, and social media.
Organize entertainment and children's activities to support the event.

RULES & REGULATIONS

LICENSE FEES — City, County, or State license fees are the responsibility of the event participant.

INSURANCE — No insurance of any kind is provided to event participants. All event participants are strongly encouraged to carry insurance.

INDEMNIFICATION — The Petaluma Downtown Association, its directors, employees, volunteers, the Petaluma Holiday Market & Shopping Stroll Committee and Promoter, the City of Petaluma, and the County of Sonoma assume no risk; and by the participation in this event and by signing this application, the participant expressly releases them from any and all liability for any theft, injury or damage to merchandise, or loss to any person or goods which may arise from the occupation of space by the participant.

COURTESY — It is imperative that you respect and listen to event staff and volunteers. There is a zero-tolerance policy for those that are acting unsafe, or not following directions.

Arguing or causing conflict with event staff, other event participants, or the public may result in removal from the event &/or exemption from participating in future events.

SMOKING — Smoking is prohibited in exhibitor spaces, within the event, and within 20’ of any business entrance.

All policies are subject to change at the discretion of the Petaluma Downtown Association.
