Application for Absent Member

To apply for Absent Member status (Overseas), submit a brief request detailing your reasons for absence and include your membership information. Check the club's guidelines Penang Swimming Club Rules 14(a) for any specific requirements.
Information for Absent Member

Application Fee:
- An application fee of RM50 is required for absent members.
Subscription Fees:

Junior Members (JM):
- Subscription fees will be waived until the member returns and reapplies as an active member.
Ordinary Transferable Members (OTM) / Ordinary Transferable Members (OTM) plus Associate Members (AM) / Associate Members (AM):

Conditions for Absence as a Member:
1. Ordinary Transferable Member – Single (OTM Single) membership can apply for absence.
2. For Ordinary Transferable Member plus Associate Member (OTM+AM) membership: if the OTM decides to be absent, the AM must also be absent together.
3. For Ordinary Transferable Member minus Associate Member (OTM–AM) membership: if the AM decides to be absent, they may do so alone, and the OTM will remain active.
- Subscription fees will be waived for the first year only.
- In the following year, the subscription fee will be reduced to half.

- University or Employment Letter
- Student Pass
- Foreign Driving License
- Foreign Identity Card
- Visa issued by the host country
