Australia Day Awards are provided by the Australia Day Committee (Victoria) and Hindmarsh Shire Council and are presented to the successful recipients at the events that are held within Hindmarsh Shire on Australia Day each year.
Who should be nominated?
Persons who have continuously contributed and/or given outstanding service to the Hindmarsh Shire community over a number of years shall be nominated, whether it be through volunteering, running a local business, offering a helping hand when needed and/or being a positive advocate for the community and people. Individuals may not nominate themselves.
