2026 Celtic Convergence Workshop Proposals

We invite members of International Encaustic Artists to submit one or two proposals for pre-retreat or post-retreat workshops that bookend our 2026 Celtic Convergence Retreat in Mulranny, Ireland. Workshop presenters will also be asked to offer presentations during the Celtic Convergence retreat.

As this is a small-scale, intimate retreat, we place a high value on opportunities for presenters and other attendees to connect, interact and spend time together. We therefore request that presenters agree to participate in the retreat and in scheduled evening events and field trips.*

Safety and Commiunication Agreements:

An important role that selected presenters play is as informed models of safe practices. We ask that all prospective presenters review and adhere to guidelines on safe temperatures for various kinds of encaustic materials and on safely combining oils and wax.
