MEDA Drop in Recovery Groups are for people actively seeking recovery from an eating disorder / disordered eating only.
We will be using the video conferencing platform Zoom.com online services (for their standard terms and conditions of use and privacy policy, check https://zoom.us/terms, and https://zoom.us/privacy).
MEDA online services are provided in a confidential, safe space. No recording is allowed, either by audio or video. Screen captures or other photographs are not allowed either.
You must have your video function available and turned on throughout the online service.
To maintain confidentiality, you should just use your first name only when joining the group.
Please maintain visual and acoustic privacy when participating in the group session.
You agree not to discuss what occurs in the group outside of the group.
You may not collect other participants’ information (login info, passwords, account information, etc).
Some participants share more than others, but it's important to be mindful of your fellow members, and to allow others the opportunity to share. Remember, listening is different than just waiting for your turn to speak.
Please give feedback to your group leader at any time by email.
