CALL FOR NEW ARTISTS - DEADLINE December 15, 2024

Los Angeles Art Association (LAAA) is pleased to announce our 2025 New Artist Screening open call. Deadline to submit is December 15, 2024. LAAA is committed to serving emerging artists of all media. Gallery 825 on La Cienega Boulevard in Los Angeles is the exhibition arm of the organization. At this venue and at offsite exhibitions, LAAA hosts a wide variety of group shows, solo shows, lectures, workshops and artist talks. All LAAA exhibition opportunities are juried by regional and national art professionals while giving emerging artists access to the highest level decision makers in the art world.Note: If you're experiencing technical difficulties, please try a different browser or call the gallery for assistance: 310-652-8272. Eligibility: Open to all emerging artists living in the U.S. Entries must be recent work created within the last three years.Media: All media. No craft or functional art. Video must be under 10 minutes in duration. For video, please upload to YouTube, Vimeo or your preferred video sharing site. Then copy and paste the URL in the appropriate fields below.Entry Fees: $35 for up to 5 entries. Entry fees are non-refundable.Online Submissions: Images must be under 1MB.Deadline to complete the online form: December 15, 2024. You will receive an email, confirming the committee's decision on or before December 17, 2024.If accepted for artist membership: Membership dues for this screening are $320, valid through December 31, 2024 (annual membership dues are $320 Jan 1-Dec 31). LAAA Artist Members are required to serve 8 hours a year.
