Please tell us why you wish to be appointed to the Manhattan Solid Waste Advisory Board. Please include, if applicable, your experience working on or around issues related to sanitation, solid waste, recycling, re-use, and the environment. Please also include issues that you might be particularly interested in addressing while serving on the Manhattan Solid Waste Advisory Board.*
Certification Statement

I am a New York City resident who lives, works, owns a business, attends school or have some other significant interest in the Borough of Manhattan. I have accurately indicated my age in this application OR I am over the age of 18. If appointed, I understand it is my responsibility to promptly notify the Office of the Manhattan Borough President (MBPO) of any changes in my residence, employment, school enrollment, or any other factor that would affect my eligibility for Community Board membership as outlined in New York Charter section 2800. I UNDERSTAND THAT FAILURE TO DO SO COULD RESULT IN MY REMOVAL FROM THE BOARD.

I am fully aware that Manhattan Solid Waste Advisory Board membership requires my regular in-person attendance and participation at Board meetings, meetings of committees to which I will be assigned, and public hearings that may be convened. I am both willing and able to make this commitment of time and effort to serve my community. Excessive absences and/or persistent non-participation in full board, committee meetings and tasks WILL CONSTITUTE CAUSE FOR MY REMOVAL FROM THE BOARD.
