Subscriber Agreement
This agreement is between the church or organization that subscribes ("Subscriber") and SECC’s Growing Together Sabbath School Curriculum. It covers access to the Growing Together resources, which include teaching guides, music, and videos on our website and mobile app.
1. Renewal Discount
Subscribers who follow the rules in this agreement will get a discount when renewing their subscription each year.
2. Password Security and Access Rules
To qualify for the discount, subscribers must keep their account passwords safe. Here’s how:
A. Access to Teaching Guides
Teaching guides are special materials that must be handled carefully:
- Who Can Access: Only teachers currently working in your church or organization should have access.
- No Sharing Outside: Do not share these guides with people outside your church or organization.
- Password Safety: Keep your passwords private and don’t share them with anyone outside your group.
- Sharing Internally: Only share passwords with active teachers who need access to the guides.
- No Public Posting: Don’t post passwords on public places like church websites, social media, or newsletters unless it’s just for active Sabbath School teachers.
- Safe Sharing: Only share passwords directly with authorized teachers using secure methods like email or text.
B. Access to Devotional Materials
Family devotional materials are available with a general password on our website and app. This password can be shared with families and your church community since it's for everyone to use.
C. Access to Pre-K-Junior Music/Audio Tracks
Family devotional materials are available with a general password on our website and app. This password can be shared with families and your church community since it's for everyone to use.
- Music/audio digital recordings cannot be copied, distributed, or shared outside of the purchasing church.
- Music/audio digital recordings usage is allowed for concurrent use in the number of classrooms needed to conduct ministry programs at the purchaser’s premises.
- Music/audio digital recordings nor any videos created using music or audio recordings can be posted online on a public site such as YouTube, Facebook, or Vimeo, aside from the exception noted in section 6, GROUP reserves the right to remove music/audio/videos from public platforms without notice.
- Music/audio digital recordings cannot be shared with non-teaching church members for home use.
- Music/audio digital recordings are non-transferrable and cannot be shared, sold, or given away by the purchasing church.
- Music/audio digital recordings can be used in a livestream or post-recorded church experience as a portion of a broader church experience. Usage should be reported to the user’s CCLI license account.
D. Beginner’s music may be shared with families for home use.
3. What Happens If You Don’t Follow the Rules
If you don’t follow the guidelines, especially about password security and sharing, it may result in:
- Losing your renewal discount
- Getting your access to resources suspended
- Ending your subscription
