Service Policies
Booking Policy
Service booking must be done via text, email, or through the booking website. Please read "Service Deposits" and "Forms and Waivers" for additional information regarding booking requirements. Abbigayle does not allow clients themselves to book same day. Any last minute openings will be communicated by Abbigayle.
Service Deposit Policy
All services require a 50% retainer deposit. This goes towards the total cost of the service and reserves your appointment time. Deposits are taken through the booking site and require card details. Failure to provide card details at least 48 hours before the appointment will result in the loss of your reserved appointment, and you will have to reschedule the appointment for a later date.
Rescheduling Policy
Rescheduling is allowed however there are specifications depending on the circumstances. Rescheduling done with 24 HOURS OR MORE notice have no penalties, and the deposit received will go towards the rescheduled appointment. Rescheduling done with LESS THAN 24 HOURS can be done TWICE PER CLIENT and the deposit carrying onto the next appointment still applies, but once that has been capped you will be charged the entire service and denied as a future client. This policy applies to all clients and is applied regardless of reason.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations are to be made at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made less than 24 hours or same day cancellations will result in being charged the complete cost of the service booked. There are zero exceptions for no shows. Late arrival by 15 minutes or more will be marked a no show. You will be billed the complete cost of the service. If you fail to show up to your appointment twice, you will be blacklisted. This policy applies to all clients and is applied regardless of reason.
Payment Policy
Abbigayle accepts cash (after deposit has been paid) or payment through the booking site. Third party payments (i.e. venmo, cashapp) are only accepted after a deposit has been paid. Full payment must be made at end of service. No late payments will be accepted, no exceptions.
Refund Policy
Deposits are refundable if 24 hour notice is given prior to a cancellation. Full service charges and costs are not refundable post-service. If a service results in irritation, discomfort, allergic reaction, etc., you will be advised to seek professional medical attention before Abbigayle can service you again to help solve the issue if possible. For these reasons, each client is required to fill out the consent form and health questionnaire prior to their appointment. Any payment(s) made after the initial deposit but prior to the service appointment will be non refundable in the case of a no show or cancellation with less than 24 hours notice.
Forms and Waivers Policy
Each client will be asked to fill out a service form/questionnaire and waiver to ensure all necessary client information is gathered, all parties are protected, and that all service details/policies are stated clearly and acknowledged. These forms must be completed 48 hours before the scheduled appointment. Failure to do so will result in being rescheduled.
Covid/Sickness Policy
Masks are currently not required however if you or anyone living with you is experiencing cold or flu-like symptoms, please reschedule. Dishonesty on the consent form will result in being turned away at the door as you will not be permitted to enter the facility, and Abbigayle will require a doctor's note to allow you to reschedule. All surfaces, tools, and equipment are regularly cleaned between clients to state and CDC standards. Your health and Abbigayle's health are top priority.
Guests and Children for Esthetics Services Policy
Please do not bring any children or guests to your appointment. The service room cannot fit more than two people. It is also a safety concern as there are chemicals and dangerous equipment that children should not have access to. I strive to create a calm and relaxing environment as well as perform your service to the best of my ability, which is much easier to achieve without any extra bodies to monitor.
Underage Clients Policy
Clients under the age of 18 will require guardian consent before being serviced. Guardian consent forms are available in person and must be filled out at the start time of the appointment. The client is required to fill out the client consent form and health questionnaire before the appointment time. I do not accept clients under the age of 16. Please reach out to Abbigayle in advance for any other questions regarding parental consent and underage clients.
Behavior Policy
Any rude or inappropriate behavior such as racism, sexism, homophobic language or actions, transphobic language or actions, harassment, inappropriate language or actions, hate speech, sexual misconduct, or any other behavior deemed unacceptable will not be tolerated. These actions could lead to cancellation of service and/or a ban from booking future services. I strive to create a safe, comfortable, and inclusive environment for all of my clients, and will do everything in my power to maintain it as such.
