Authority

a. The tournament will be managed and conducted by Wenty
Leagues Table Tennis: President's Cup
committee and will be played with the current ITTF rules.

b. Decisions - The Committee shall retain exclusive authority over all
aspects of the event, and its decisions will be final and binding.

c. Entry Rights - The Committee reserves the exclusive right, at
their sole discretion, to deny entry to any player. In the event this
right is exercised, the player will be notified, and any fees paid will
be refunded in full.

d. Event Cancellation and Conditions - The Committee, in
coordination with the Tournament Director, shall have the
authority to cancel any event due to insufficient entries and to
modify any conditions as deemed necessary.

e. Injury Disclaimer - Event organizer/ committee will not recognize
any claims for injuries sustained by players during the event.
Table Tennis NSW holds insurance that may cover injuries for
members (at any membership level) under certain conditions.

f. Late Entries - Acceptance of late entries is subject to the
discretion of the Tournament Director.

 

The submission of the Entry Form on Jotform or participation in these events is deemed as acceptance of these Conditions.

Wenty Leagues Table Tennis Club presents, The Gavin Bland President's Cup. Proceeds will be donated to Crown Princess Mary Cancer Centre, which is a leading Cancer Research Institute located in Western Sydney. 

Dates and Venue
a. The tournament will be held on 23rd and 24th November 2024
(Saturday & Sunday), at 9:00 am - 7:00 pm at Wenty Table
Tennis Club Hall opposite Ringrose Oval on Smith St. Wentworthville, NSW 2145
III. Divisions and Eligibility
a. President's cup is open to all players who are members of TTNSW.
b. Divisions will be based on Ratings Central

i. Open - Limited slot only - 16)
ii. Under 1500 RC (Limited slot only - 16)
iii. Under 1300 RC - Limited slot only - 16)
iv. Under 1000RC - Limited slot only - 16)

c. Entry ticket for each event consists of singles and random doubles (doubles is free).

c. Players can enter any and multiple events provided their RC doesn't exceed the RC cutoff 
d. Unrated / Ungraded players to contact the Tournament Director
before entering to competition (Dr Mithilesh Dronavalli:

Singles Format
a. A round robin (group stage) and knockout system will be played
for every division.
i. Group Stage (top 2 per group advances)
ii. Knockouts / Finals
b. Game Scoring
i. Best of 5 sets
ii. Players advance as per ITTF rules (won sets divided by lost sets for each player in the tie)
iv. The knockout stage is a single-elimination format, where
players compete in a series of matches with the winner
advancing to the next round and the loser being eliminated
from the tournament.
v. The final match of the tier will determine the division
champion.
vi. All Singles games will be submitted to Rating Central.

Doubles Format

Pairs will be picked from the ordered RC player list (1st plays with last and so on). Pairing may be subject to change but even distribution of RC will be given priority. 

Fees
a. All participants must pay a registration fee of $25/ entry per, 

b. Only fully paid entries will be drawn before competition starts.
VI. Schedule - check-in at least 20 minutes prior to event start time.
