    Short Film Selection On Tour
  • The European Film Academy’s short film tour brings the finest selection of short films nominated for the European Film Awards to a series of film festivals and cinemas across Europe and beyond. The tour starts in November 2024 and finishes by the end of 2025 featuring the five nominated short films.

    Nominations “European Short Film” Awards (European Short Film – Prix Vimeo) 2024:

    - 2720 directed by Basil da Cunha (Portugal, Switzerland, 25')
    - CLAMOUR directed by Salomé da Souza (France, 25')
    - THE EXPLODING GIRL directed by Caroline Poggi, Jonathan Vinel (France, 19')
    - THE MAN WHO COULD NOT REMAIN SILENT directed by Nebojša Slijepčević (Croatia, France, Bulgaria, Slovenia, 14')
    - WANDER TO WONDER directed by Nina Grantz (Netherlands, France, Belgium, United Kingdom, 14')

  • The tour is organised by the European Film Academy’s Short Film Network partner festival, Curtas Vila do Conde IFF in Portugal, handling the circulation of copies and the financial part of the tour.

    General Screening Conditions:
    - Kindly note that we do not permit online screenings;
    - The films are to be presented, if possible, altogether in one session / programme block;
    - The films must only be presented in combination with the tour's opening clip (to be provided with the screening files) at the beginning of each session / programme block related to the tour;
    - It is not possible to book single films individually;
    - The films can be part of the festivals video library but only if they are strictly accessible for film professionals, with a festival accreditation, and only during the festival dates;

    Screening Fee & Invoice:
    - The screening fee amounts to € 35 EUR per film, € 175 total for the the five nominated short films;
    - The fee covers one screening per festival / institution / cinema; for further screenings, the fee will multiply accordingly;
    - The invoice will be issued by the European Film Academy’s partner, Curtas Vila do Conde IFF. The participating festivals / institutions / cinemas will pay a fee of € 35 EUR per film, € 175 total for the five nominees;
    - Please provide your valid VAT number (see below). Otherwise, we need to add 23% extra VAT to the total amount;
    - Before receiving the screening files, kindly note that the payment must be made. We kindly request that you provide us with the necessary information for invoicing (see below) by submitting this form as soon as possible, proceed with the payment, and send us the proof of payment at your earliest convenience;

    Screening Files & Film Promotional Material:
    Maria Ana Marques (print.agencia@curtas.pt) will provide the PR material (film stills in printable quality, portraits of the directors, trailers or teasers, credits, synopses), screening files (DCP & H.264, with hardcoded English subtitles as well as clean files) and separate subtitles, SRT files (English language, further languages if available) via download. Preview screeners for programming and / or translation purposes are available upon request.
