    • Direct beneficiaries or users are the individuals or organizations directly and actively using your solution. Please provide, to the best of your knowledge, the total number of individual users and organizations.

    • Examples:

      Learning Management System Blockchain Digital ID for Refugee Aid 
      The teachers who actively use the LMS for training modules, lesson planning, and classroom management strategies are the direct beneficiaries. They interact directly with the system and benefit from its features. The students who experience improved teaching quality as a result of their teachers using the LMS are the indirect beneficiaries. They benefit from the enhanced learning environment created by the trained teachers, even though they do not directly interact with the LMS. The refugee who receives the digital ID and uses it to directly access services is a direct beneficiary. They actively engage with the system and benefit from its primary functionalities. Indirect beneficiaries would include the family members of the refugee who indirectly benefit from the services accessed through the digital ID. For instance, a parent using the ID to secure healthcare for their child makes the child an indirect beneficiary, as they benefit without directly interacting with the solution.

       

       

       

       

       

       

       

       

       

       

       

      The figures we ask for are cumulative, which means how many users or direct beneficiaries your solution has ever reached since the beginning of the project, not just the month or year. You should add new figures to the totals from your previous reports. If there’s no new data, just report the same numbers as before.

    • Indirect beneficiaries are those who benefit from or experience positive effects from direct users's access to the solution.

      For example, in a learning management system (LMS), the teacher is the direct beneficiary because they actively use the platform to manage courses, assignments, and track progress. The student is an indirect beneficiary since they experience the impact of the system through improved learning experiences and structured course delivery.
