Pre Premier competition registration begins 8:30AM, Premier and choreography to follow lunch approximately 12:30PM.
Event held rain or shine.
Entries must be received on or before Friday, January 24, 2025, NO EXCEPTIONS.
# USSE 407 RULES & REGULATIONS: RSOBHD rules will govern all events and trophies. Each dancer must present a valid 2025 ScotDance Registration card.
Pre Premier cards will be collected and returned during awards.
Dancers must be in appropriate costume to receive awards.
All dancers must show their 2025 ScotDance registration cards prior to dancing and to receive any awards.
Proof of age must be provided if requested. Age applies as of February 1, 2025.
Age groups will be determined or adjusted as needed by entries received by due date.
The adjudicator's decision is final.
Medals/ribbons and trophies will be awarded in all Pre Premier and Restricted Premier sections except Primary where only medals/ribbons will be awarded.
Prize money will be awarded to the two oldest Premier age groups. Dancer of the Day dance off 4 step Lilt.
Three-Month Rule – Judges may not adjudicate any competitor that they have instructed for a period of three months. If a competitor has entered a competition with a judge they have attended a class or workshop within the last three months, the dancer must step down from the competition.

All fees must be in US Currency. SORRY, NO REFUNDS.
Solo & Duet Choreography Rules:
1. Premier Solo & Duet Choreography is limited to Premier dancers only. Pre-Premier Solo & Duet Choreography is limited to Pre-Premier dancers of all categories.
2. Solo & Duet Choreography will not be divided into age groups.
3. Solo & Duet Choreography is a maximum of 2.5 minutes, including entrance and exit.

Participants must bring a backup copy of their music on a memory stick or smart phone to the event.
5. Per RSOBHD rules, music may include vocal or percussion selections, but in all cases must be predominantly Scottish or Celtic in style.
