Please review and complete this spreadsheet with our list of volunteer opportunities. There are volunteer slots available on both Tuesday, 11/19 and Wednesday, 11/20.

Brief job descriptions for each volunteer role are listed below.  

• Moderators - Oral Presentations: Moderators will help ensure all presenters are present and ready at the start of their session. They will keep time and will signal the presenters when it is time wrap up their presentation and transition to Q&A. Moderators are also in charge of collecting judges scoring packets. Moderators should arrive ~10 minutes before session start time.
  
  
• Poster Manager: Make sure each presenter has their poster up. Communicate to event coordinators for any missing presenters. Periodically scan the poster presentation room to make sure all is going well. Poster managers should arrive ~10 minutes before session start time.
  
  
• General Support: Including, but not limited to–
  • Event set-up/take-down: First and last shift volunteers will help with setting up for the event and breaking down after the event, respectively.
  • Registration Table: Monitor the registration table. Assist presenters in finding their rooms. Assist guests and mentors in finding the right rooms/presentations/presenters. Provide extra support as needed.
  • Judges Coordinator: Answer questions about judging process. Provide judges with judging packets, remind them to submit their judging results electronically, and collect results from moderators if judges completed a paper form.
