United Suicide Survivors International (USSI) is hosting the 4th Annual Construction Working Minds Summit in Dallas, TX from February 24th-27th, 2025 and recognizing construction organizations and leaders that have advanced employee well-being. Over the last several years, the construction industry has made substantial advancement on tackling tough mental health challenges like depression, substance use issues and other addictive behaviors and suicide. We would like to celebrate those that have gone above and beyond!

Awards Include:
• Mental Health Visionary Award Categories:
◦ Large Construction Company (>1,500 employees)
◦ Mid-Size Construction Company (≤1,500 employees)
◦ National Association
◦ Regional/Chapter Organization
◦ Local Union
• Shining Light Through Media Award
• Academic and/or Applied Research Award
Criteria:
• Instituted (When was your program initiated & what has been the duration of commitment) - 20%
• Innovation (Ingenuity/inventiveness) - 10%
• Initiatives (Breadth and depth of offerings) - 30%
• Impact (Total reach and effectiveness of adoption) - 40%
Award applications close November 26, 2024. Winners will be announced December 12, 2024. They will receive an invitation to attend the summit and be recognized February 26th, 2025 in an Awards Celebration Dinner at the Summit. They will also be announced on social media and via other publicity efforts.
Both self-nominations and nominations by third-parties are welcome. Regarding third-party nominations, the organization or person being nominated should be made aware of the nomination and agree to it. Conference planners’ strong preference is that all awardees be present at the Summit to receive their awards.
