Student Scholarship Application Form 2025 Construction Working Minds Summit

Overview

The organizers of the 4th Annual Construction Working Minds Summit have allocated scholarship funds to support attendance of students and apprentices in and around the construction, health and safety industries. The Summit will take place February 26th & 27th, 2024 at the Sheraton Hotel in Arlington, Texas. If you would like to attend, please complete this application before Friday, December 13, 2024.

Scholarships will include Summit registration, but funds may become available for transportation and lodging. Scholarship winners will be notified at least four weeks before the summit.

Scholarship Specifics

Summit Admission for the conference days on Wednesday, February 26 and Thursday, February 27 (7:00am - 5:00pm CST) ONLY. Social Hour and Award Ceremony Dinner attendance ARE NOT included as part of this scholarship.

Reimbursement for flights/transportation, lodging, ground transportation and meals (no alcohol) up to $1,000.00. This reimbursement will be provided AFTER the event. Formal receipts showing proof of payment will need to be submitted within one week of the event conclusion in order to receive reimbursement. No handwritten receipts will be accepted.

Flights/transportation will need to be planned and booked ON YOUR OWN.

Food:

Breakfast and lunch provided during the conference days. Dinner will be covered under stipend at an amount up to $50.00, NOT including alcohol.

Construction Working Minds will book and pay for your lodging ONLY if you plan on staying at The Sheraton Arlington Hotel under our discounted event room block. The price to stay at The Sheraton Arlington Hotel is roughly $400 for 2 nights and $600 for 3 nights. If you elect for us to book and pay for your lodging at The Sheraton Arlington Hotel, the total cost of the rooms plus any incidentals will be deducted from your $1,000 scholarship allotment. NOTE: A credit card may be needed as part of the check in process to be used for any room incidentals.
