  • Suspension / Contract Buyout Request

    2025-2026 season
  • Please read this information carefully before proceeding to the next page.

Development track and Masters swimmers may request to supsend billing for a period of time.

Challenge and Elite track swimmers are obligated to an 11-month contract and may NOT suspend dues UNLESS there is a medical issue. A "Contract Buyout" is required.

    IMPORTANT:

    • ACCOUNT BALANCE: Must be PAID IN FULL prior to submitting this form.

    • PRORATION: NO billing proration for partial month attendance, mid-month vacations, etc. Suspension requests and contract buyouts begin on the 1st of a month. Medical suspensions may be prorated.

    • DEVELOPMENT TRACK WAITLISTS: Once suspended, your roster spot may be filled by someone on a waitlist. If you do not wish to take this chance, we suggest that you continue paying monthly dues.

    • REQUEST IN ADVANCE: If you wish to stop billing, make this request ahead of time. Refunds are not made for retroactive requests. E.g. If you want billing to stop on December 1, you must submit your request before the end of November.

ONCE BILLING IS SUSPENDED, REMEMBER THE FOLLOWING:

    • Swimmer may NOT ATTEND ANY practices during the suspension/buyout period.
    • You will NOT receive communications (emails) from SportsEngine (FKA Team Unify), other than payment notifications. It is your responsibility to stay on top of the TITANS website and obtain information about upcoming events and deadlines, eg. registration for the next season.
    • To return to practice, you must complete the Reactivation form and wait for confirmation that room is available in the group.

If you have questions about this form before moving on, please contact finance@tactitans.org.

  • REMINDER that the following statements were agreed upon electronically when registering your swimmer with TITANS:

After the initial 14 days of the swimmer’s first team practice, those in the Challenge and Elite tracks are obligated for the entire 11-month contractual fee and family endowment contribution, regardless of the length of time which the swimmer remains in the program.

Should a swimmer in the Challenge or Elite track wish to leave the program, a contract buyout is required. The lesser of a two month’s dues cancellation fee or the remainder of the swim-year’s dues will be assessed to the family’s account, as well as any unpaid family endowment contribution obligation and service credits not worked. A swimmer may not attend practice through the buyout period.

Note:  Service Credits will be prorated as follows: two credits for the initial membership month, plus one additional credit per month of participation.

  • Medical Suspension requests are granted for medical issues (illness or injury) lasting more than 21 days.

This form must be accompanied by an official letter from your medical practitioner specifying the beginning and ending dates of the out-of-water medical suspension.

The letter must be printed on a doctor's letterhead, signed and dated.
