The Department of Biosciences offers undergraduate fellowships for summer research for declared Biosciences majors. The fellowship pays $5000 for a research internship for ten weeks, commonly starting the Tuesday after Memorial Day. These fellowships require a faculty research advisor who is a member of the Department of Biosciences. Remind your research advisor to submit your letter of support to the department (the application is not eligible for consideration without the nomination letter from a Biosciences faculty member).

  • The Chemistry Department Summer Research Fellowships provides stipend support of up to $5,000 for 10 weeks during the summer. Stipend assumes 40 hours/week laboratory work. Eligible for Chemistry majors only.

  • This opportunity is open to all EEPS and ENVS majors and EEPS minors. Non-majors who have worked on EEPS-related research with department faculty will also be considered. Fellowships are carried out under the guidance of a faculty research mentor. Students do not need a letter of support from a research advisor to apply, but we strongly encourage you to identify and contact potential advisors ahead of time. For more detail about the fellowship and eligibility requirements visit EEPS Human Impacts Fellowship page.
