The Pathfinder Award aims to celebrate a newer underrepresented narrator with 1-10 titles who has shown great potential for their future audiobook work.
The winner of the Pathfinder Award will receive a $1000 prize, a trophy, and a year of marketing support.
Narrators selected for the Trailblazer Cohort will receive a free audiobook consultation and one year of marketing support.
Rules:
1)
The narrator must have a minimum of one English-language audiobook project available in the United States in order to win the award.
2)
If the narrator does not have one released audiobook project available online, they can be considered for the Trailblazer Cohort based on their audiobook samples.
3)
The narrator should have a maximum of ten titles listed on Audible by November 30th, 2025. We may consider narrators who have a few more by reviewing time, but will prioritize narrators who meet this limit.
4)
The narrator must primarily narrate in English, or have projects/samples available in English, accesible from within the United States.
5)
The narrator should be underrepresented in the audiobook industry, whether by race, gender identity, sexuality, disability, and/or other factors that impact their experience in the audiobook industry.
6)
To win the award, the narrator must be based within one of the 200+ countries where PayPal operates. For U.S. winners, Venmo and Zelle are available. There may be international shipping limitations for the trophy. However, anyone across the world with English-language audiobooks available in the U.S. can be submitted and considered for the Trailblazer Cohort.
7)
Submissions will be considered until November 30th, 2025, 11:45pm ET.
