*ICLEI members receive cheaper rates for programs and consultancy/ technical support than non-members.

ICLEI membership connects a diverse group of Mayors, Councillors and Officers through our programs and events, knowledge exchange, peer-to-peer learning and sharing common challenges. It also provides entry to local and global programs/ initiatives linked to the five ICLEI pathways. Councils can be members of ICLEI without the need to participate in value-add programs/ initiatives associated with the five pathways, such as the ones listed above.

Membership fees are managed by the ICLEI Global Secretariat and are based on a combination of local government population size and country Gross National Income (GNI). Annual membership fees are listed in this document.
