  • Mind – Active Monitoring/Supported self-help service, runs in partnership with Swansea University Wellbeing & Disability Service.

Active Monitoring/Supported self-help is a free, six-week guided self-help programme to help you understand and feel more in control of your emotions. Mind can provide you with all the tips and tools you’ll need to understand yourself better and support you through the programme with regular contact.

In your first appointment (this may be in-person, a telephone call or video call,) you and your Mind Active Monitoring/Supported self-help practitioner will explore if the service is right for you.

Together, you will agree on a programme of support covering any of the following topics: Anxiety, Depression, Self-esteem, Stress, Feeling alone, Managing anger, Grief and loss.  Each week you will receive materials to help you understand and manage your feelings, but you won’t have to complete these alone. Your Mind Active Monitoring/Supported self-help practitioner will arrange an appointment each week to talk about your feelings and help with any issues you have.

Further information and a downloadable leaflet outlining the Active Monitoring/Supported self-help service can be found by clicking here.
