1. The Work: The Artist shall provide one artwork to the Museum to be exhibited. All Mediums are welcome as are all sizes and substrates. The Artist declares that the artworks are entirely their own work and is based on inspiration from the House of Refuge. All submissions presented for judging must be prepared to be hung in the exhibition space.
2. Compensation: Commission fees of 75% of the total cost of sale will be issued to the artist at the time of the exhibitions close.
3. Intellectual Property Rights: All intellectual property rights on the artworks belong to the Artist, within the limits set by the applicable intellectual property law. The Museum is prohibited to use copies or reduced size copies on any materials or posters of exhibition without written consent of the Artist. 4. Publicity: The Museum will be solely responsible for the marketing activities regarding the exhibition, and shall be responsible for design, layout, content, printing and distribution of the marketing material. The Artist shall provide the Gallery with its biography profile and respond in a timely fashion to requests for information.
5.General:
- The Museum shall be solely responsible for security measures during the exhibition. This includes security personnel, rules of the event, security policies, protection from dangers like theft, loss, vandalism, fire, smoke, and water damage.
- Complementary water will be available for all artists and staff throughout the day.
- If the exhibition is canceled for any reason, the Museum is not obliged to pay any compensation to the Artist unless it is the fundamental fault of the Museum.
- Any changes or amendments to this terms and conditions require written consent from both parties involved. This Contract shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the applicable federal laws and the laws of the State of Florida.
