Audience: This facilitated virtual workshop is designed for K-12 Spanish-English bilingual or dual language education teachers, support staff, and administrators interested in strengthening Spanish language instructional practice in bilingual learning spaces.
Description: This workshop uses an interactive and hands-on approach to connect theoretical and pedagogical practices of Spanish language arts instruction. Via engaging examples, participants will explore the application of el Marco de referencia de las artes del lenguaje del español de WIDA (Marco ALE). This workshop will be delivered primarily in Spanish.
By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:

Incorporate Marco ALE in Spanish language arts instructional planning.

Recognize the importance of simultaneously using the three strands of the Marco ALE in Spanish language arts instruction.
- Explore the implementation of las prácticas through various examples.
