EVENT FEES —
- HOLIDAY MARKET STREET SPACE - Handmade Artisan (Local from Sonoma County) - $100
(Must be a Sonoma County Address) (BOOTH ON KENTUCKY STREET, MAY NOT BLOCK SIDEWALK)
- HOLIDAY MARKET STREET SPACE - Handmade Artisan (Local Outside Sonoma County) - $150
(BOOTH ON KENTUCKY STREET, MAY NOT BLOCK SIDEWALK)
TIMELINES —
- Reservation deadline is November 27. Booth spaces will be sold on a “first-come, first-serve” basis once confirmed by the event committee. Unclaimed booth spaces, if any, may be resold at 9:30am on the event day. Subleasing is not permitted; sharing requires prior approval by PDA Staff.
- Confirmation and space number notifications will be sent out via EMAIL prior to event day. Included will be setup instructions, a detailed map, and further information. If we are unable to accommodate you, you will be notified and issued a full refund.
- Cancelations must be received by December 2 or all monies deposited will be forfeited. Any new bookings made after this date will be non-refundable. The event will be held rain or shine. No refunds will be given.
STREET SPACE SPECIFICATIONS — Booth spaces are located on Kentucky St between Western Ave and Washington St, and are approximately 10'x10'. The City Event Permit is only for the street, no booths may be setup on sidewalks.
SETUP — Setup is from 9am - 11am. Entrance to the event area is via Kentucky Street. All vehicles must be cleared from the event area by 10:30am. No vehicles are allowed to enter the event area between 10:30am - 5:30pm. Event participants must remain within the boundaries of their booths - no merchandise or boxes may be placed on sidewalks or against buildings. Event participants must be on the street and against the sidewalk, sidewalks may not be used or blocked per the City permit.
BREAKDOWN — Spaces may not be broken down until 5pm. Vehicles may not enter the event area until 5:30pm or until the event crowd has dispersed and event staff gives the go-ahead. Event participants must packed up prior to bringing in vehicles to prevent crowding. Please do not drive the wrong way on one-way streets. Event participants must clean up prior to leaving and place all trash in provided receptacles. No unwanted items may be left. Please cooperate with the event staff who are directing traffic.
ELECTRICITY — Electricity is not available. No generators are allowed.
TENTS / TABLES / CHAIRS — Spaces must be furnished by event participants. Placing merchandise on the ground in lieu of tables or display cabinets is unacceptable. Shade structures or popup tents must fit within the allotted space as notated on the map and as marked on the streets. All shade structures or popup tents are required to have weights on the legs and be properly secured.
RESALE PERMIT — The State Board of Equalization requires and enforces that all companies, organizations, and individuals making sales have a current and valid California resale permit. No one will be assigned a space at the event without providing a valid resale permit number. LICENSE FEES — City, County, or State license fees are the responsibility of the event participant.
INSURANCE — No insurance of any kind is provided to event participants. All event participants are strongly encouraged to carry insurance.
INDEMNIFICATION — The Petaluma Downtown Association, its directors, employees, volunteers, the Petaluma Holiday Market & Shopping Stroll Committee and Promoter, the City of Petaluma, and the County of Sonoma assume no risk; and by their participation in this event and by signing this application, the participant expressly releases them from any and all liability for any theft, injury or damage to merchandise, or loss to any person or goods which may arise from the occupation of space by the participant.
COURTESY — It is imperative that you respect and listen to event staff and volunteers. We have a zero-tolerance policy for those that are acting unsafe, or not following directions.
Arguing or causing conflict with event staff, other event participants, or the public may result in removal from the event &/or exemption from participating in future events.
SMOKING — Smoking is prohibited in exhibitor spaces, within the event, and within 20’ of any business entrance.
