Information: There are two community garden sites. Coast Guard Hill (900 Ferry St) is for raised bed gardening, most suitable for "kitchen gardens" for 1-2 people or beginner gardeners. The second site is at Mounce's Meadow off 481 Union Street. These are large in-ground beds more suitable for families and gardeners with prior experience. Both sites have a small shed for keeping personal garden tools and shared tools like wheelbarrows etc.
Both locations often support a bed to assist the Marshfield Food Pantry, and sometimes a shared herb or fruit garden for all to assist in upkeep and enjoy the harvest.
