The Building Bridges: The Power of Allyship in Health Care and Beyond training is designed for health care and human services professionals seeking to develop a deeper understanding of allyship and its crucial role in fostering inclusive and equitable health care and human services environments. Participants will explore core allyship concepts and learn skills to implement allyship strategies to mitigate bias and address microaggressions, enhancing both patient care and professional interactions. Through reflective exercises, case studies, and actionable steps, attendees will acquire the skills to advocate for marginalized groups and contribute to a culture of empathy and respect. This interactive session will equip health care and human services professionals with the tools to promote allyship in both employee-to-employee and provider-to-patient/client relationships, driving improved health outcomes and workplace collaboration. Additional Registration and Payment Information
Once the minimum number of five (5) persons have registred for this workshop, you will be invoiced for the workshop fee. Payment in full is due one week prior to the workshop start. For example, for the workshop that starts on Dec. 17, 2024, the payment is due by no later than Dec. 10, 2024.

Refund Policy
Unless a class is canceled by CCHCP, the following refund policy will apply:

Up to 2 weeks before class starts: 80%
Up to 1 week before class starts: 50%

However, if you are unable to attend a course that you registered and fully paid for, you can choose to apply that payment to another workshop within a 12-month period of the original start date of the workshop you registered and paid for.

If the class is canceled by CCHCP, you will receive a 100% refund.

CCHCP reserves the right to remove any participant who interferes with or causes disruption in the learning environment. Refunds will not be issued to participants who are removed.
Certificate of Completion
Participants who attend all 1.5 hours of the course will receive a certificate of completion.
