    BEFORE FILLING OUT THE FORM 💕

    This form is for folks who want their taxes filed for them. This service is available to anyone living within the USA (except those living and/or earning income in NY).

    Please review my sliding scale policy to see under which level you fit in and pricing. The sliding scale is from $50 to $300. 

    Note: The sliding scale is honor code, and "proof" will not be requested. It is up to my discretion (based on reviewed documents you submit) whether the scale you chose for payment is appropriate. All married couples are considered at the Clay level unless both partners qualify for public assistance, in which case the couple may chose the Stone or Clay option.

    **All appointments are 100% confidential**, I do not share my appointment book with anyone, nor do I share what we spoke about with anyone else. 

    What do services include?: Meeting time, tax filing, mail/postage if taxes need to be paper filed, and support with follow-up if the IRS sends you a notice.

    What to expect after you fill out this form: I will send you an email with a link for you to self-book an appointment with me (you are welcome to bring a friend, family member, or anyone in your support network/group to your appointment). 

    What to do before the meeting:
    Review and sign a service agreement sent via docusign, then via a secure, encrypted tresorit link I send you, you will upload all relevant documents (ID, SSN, W2, 1099's, etc). If you are self employed, please create a spreadsheet with your expenses and income, here is a sample you can follow if needed. Please upload all documents atleast 3-4 days prior to our appointment. This will give me a chance to input all your information (prior to your appointment), and allows us to spend most of the appointment answering your questions instead of data entry.  When we meet on zoom, I will share my screen, go over your taxes, ask you some questions, answer your questions, go line by line over your taxes, and only with your consent, then file your taxes. You will be provided copies of everything that was submitted. 

    Sliding Scale Pricing: All tax support sessions are sliding scale for a 90 minute appointment. Please read my sliding scale policy to best select where you fall on the scale. While it is rare for an individual to need a 2nd appt, should you need a 2nd appointment beyond our 90 minutes, you would need to book again and pay another 90 minute session fee.

    No show/Cancellation/reschedule policy:
    -All appointments are non-refundable.
    -If you are more than 10 minutes late, you will need to reschedule.
    -If you miss or reschedule your appointment the first time, you may reschedule up to ONE more time. There is no fee for the first reschedule as long as it is done at least 12 hours prior to your initial appointment. Please be sure to check in with yourself and your capacity prior to booking.

    This service is best for folks who:
    - Have one or many W2 jobs
    - Are new to self employment/freelance work (have an Etsy, other online store, patreon/onlyf@ns, gig worker, uber/lyft driver, etc) 
    - Are S3x w0rkers
    - Have received unemployment
    - Are students/recently graduated students
    - Are single parents
    - Are teachers
    - Is a tenant (renter) who doesn't own any housing property

    This service is not for folks who:

    - Are filing as Married Filing Separate (out of scope)
    - Lived in or earned income in the state of NY (out of scope)
    - S-Corp Taxes (out of scope)
    - Sold stocks/crypto
    - Have military income
    - Own an LLC (single member LLC owners are considered on a case to case basis)
    - Are a landlord of multiple properties (some homeowners paying off a mortgage for the only home they live in are considered on a case to case basis)

    I have the right to refuse services. If you book me, and afterwards we realize this is not a good fit, I will reimburse your payment.

  • Priority for sponsored spots will be given to those who are unhoused (& folks at risk of being unhoused), no-income, fixed income, qualify for public assistance (such as food stamps, mediCal) and/or formerly incarcerated.
