Please be aware this is a sign up for YOUNG PEOPLE (UNDER 16) CAST ONLY, other volunteering opportunities will be advertised shortly. This form is for young people aged between 10-15years. The closing date for sign up for the young people is end of the day on Wednesday 8th January 2025.
We are looking at creating 2 teams of 12 young people who will share the performances over the run.

Introductory Workshop sign up

Introductory Workshop sessions will take place at Riding Lights, Friargate Theatre, Lower Friargate, York, YO1 9SL at the following times:

Saturday 18th January 2025 2.00-3.15pm

Saturday 25th January 2025 2.00-3.15pm

Please select ONLY ONE time slot that your young person would like to attend for an introductory workshop. You only need to sign up for one slot on one of the days - you DO NOT need to choose a slot on each day

There is a limit of 15 attendees per workshop - if a slot isn't showing on the calendar below, the slot is at capacity.

Technical and Dress Rehearsals

Technical rehearsals are the sessions where the cast will rehearse on the stage with all technical elements including set, costume, props, lighting, sound etc. This is an essential part of the process. For health and safety reasons, it is vital that you are available to attend ALL technical and dress rehearsals as follows:

Sessions breakdown- Morning, Afternoon or Evening

Saturday 12th July 2025 - 2 sessions only TBC

Monday 14th July 2025 - 1 x evening session

Tuesday 15th July 2025 - 1 x evening sesison

Wednesday 16th July 2025 - 1 x evening session

Thursday 17th July 2025 - 1 x evening session

Friday 18th July 2025 - 1 x evening session ( Dress Rehearsal)

Saturday 19th 2025 - 1 x afternoon session ( Dress Rehearsal)

Monday 21st 2025 - 1 x evening session ( Notes)
Please confirm that you grant permission to York Theatre Royal (YTR) and Riding Lights(RL) to use, edit, alter and publish photographic pictures and/or video footage of your young person for the promotion of His Last Report.

Photographs and videos taken during the course of the production will be sued across our printed publications, publicity, online and social media to support and promote the production and the work of the organisations. Photographs and videos will be saved in a photgraphic library for future productions
