Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for the STAP, students must meet the following criteria:
• Have an active CEGA student membership.
• Have a primary residence outside of the city the event is being held in.
• Have a confirmed acceptance to present a paper or poster at a CEGA run conference.
Eligible expenses include:
• Travel Costs (airfare, bus fare, car rental, cab fare, gas, etc.)
• Hotel accommodations
Funding Allocation:
Final funding amount is subject to the total number of applicants and travel requirements, the maximum amount that a successful applicant could receive is $750CAD.
Funding Disbursement:
Approved applicants will be notified of their funding allocation in advance of the conference. The conference organizing committee will set the notification period and have that information available to students who are applying. Funds will be disbursed as a reimbursement upon submission of all eligible receipts following the conference.
