ALEXANDER BEN ABRAHAM SINGER SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

The Alexander Ben Abraham Singer Scholarship:
The Alexander Singer Scholarship Fund was established in blessed memory of its namesake and distributed to JCSH by the Sidney Stern Family Foundation.

The purpose of the scholarship is to financially assist Hawaii’s Jewish youth to attend a Jewish camp here or on the continent, or to travel to Israel with an educational organization or Birthright Israel.

Grants are awarded depending on the money available and number of applicants each year.

After you complete the scholarship appliction, a small committee meets and distributes the scholarships in the most equitable way possible, based on financial need.

Please apply by April 15 or soon after.

Late applications are welcome but

the funds available may be fewer.
Application Requirements:
- Priority is given to first time Singer Scholarship applicants.
- Please be honest about your household income - everthing is confidential.
- Programs should be Jewish based, run by a Jewish organization
- We love when kids write a brief note after their experience so that we can advertise the scholarship for the next year!
