Wine Victoria, with the support of Global Victoria and in partnership with Brand Catalyser are delighted to present an opportunity in the China market with leading retailer Freshippo.
Wine Victoria has secured the opportunity for 10 producers to take part in a week-long product trial in their flagship store in Shanghai.
The collaborative event will see a one-week Wine Victoria mini awareness campaign to gauge consumer interest and performance of Victorian wines, helping Freshippo’s procurement team to confidently select a range of Victorian wines for potential permanent ranging across their network.
The campaign will include a Wine Victoria Corner featuring tastings of the selected producers, to be facilitated by a dedicated promotional team, as well as an online feedback survey to provide guidance to Freshippo’ s procurement team post the campaign. In addition to attendance and feedback from consumers, the campaign also includes media engagement and interaction with KOL’s (Key opinion Leaders).
The campaign is timed from 6th to 13th December to coincide with Freshippo’s Wine Festival.

Before submitting your EOI, please ensure you agree, comply and understand the following:
- Each Participant can submit 3 SKUs and will be required to provide 12 bottles of each SKU FOC.
- There are no other costs to participate other than the provision of samples, and any internal freight required in China to deliver to the Freshippo warehouse.
- Wines should align with the mainstream price range of 250RMB RRP or less with advice from Freshippo that in totality they are seeking a trial portfolio of 40% red and the remaining 60% white and sparkling wines.
- Submitting an EOI does not guarantee participation
IMPORTANT: To participate you must be currently exporting to China, and have stock in market from which to draw down samples, and be a member of Wine Victoria.
