Show respect to others involved in the game including match officials, opposition players, coaches, managers, officials and spectators. Promote fair play and behave within the spirit of the Laws of the Game. Adhere to the Laws of the Game. Always respect the match officials' decisions. Never engage in public criticism of the match officials, club officials or club managers/coaches - including via any social media platform. Parents/Spectators must not coach from the touchline during matches or training, rather encourage. Leave coaching to the coach/manager or you may cause confusion and erode your child's confidence. Parents/Spectators must not enter the field of play, before, during or after the match. All A field matches must be viewed from behind the perimeter fencing. The A field dugouts are for the players & coaches only. Mini, Junior or Senior Matches: Parents/Spectators are not allowed behind or next to the goal posts. Respect our club's facilities as well as your opponents' facilities when playing away. Tidy up after training and matches. Use waste bins provided around the fields and/or in or around the Clubhouse to ensure our facilities are kept tidy - the above applies to fields, changing rooms and Clubhouse.
Therefore, with consideration to the CTTFA's Respect program and its aim to tackle unacceptable behaviour across the whole game, and with BCFC's commitment in playing a role in observing CTTFA's Respect Code of Conduct: As a BCFC player, | commit to the following: Speak to my coach/manager, my team-mates and the opposition with respect. Training: Players that miss training (regularly) or are late comers for training will stand the chance of being put on the bench on match day. You and/or your child needs to follow this discipline, as other players, who are following this disciplinary code, need to be considered and given preference. Coaches reserve the right to make these decisions.
As the parent of a BCFC player, I commit to the following: Be my child's best fan, encouraging and supporting him/her unconditionally. Helping my child to focus on team participation and/or their own individual performance, and not the result. Remember - winning is not as important as the performance, participation and/or the team. Should you encounter any concern or situation that requires validating any decision regarding the BCFC Code of Conduct, you should raise the concern with your team manager or coach. Alternatively, you are welcome to discuss this further with BCFC's Club Captain or Vice-Chairs who, in turn, will speak to the necessary club officials/raise within the club's committee structures.
Please be informed that we, as a club (committee), can at any time call a member we feel is transgressing our code or club discipline to attend a Disciplinary Committee Hearing.
