  • Excellence Awards

-For CSHP Members and Individual Supporters-
  • CSHP is seeking award appraisers for the National Awards Program. Award appraisers are critical to the success of this program. To assist with the selection this year’s award-winning projects and to celebrate healthcare-systems pharmacy excellence, please consider submitting your name as an appraiser for the awards program.

    Submissions are appraised in November.

  • Appraisers must be current CSHP members who hold a professional degree in pharmacy and who have been practicing in a hospital or other collaborative healthcare setting for at least five years.

You will be given a maximum of three submissions to review. It is estimated that each appraisal will take approximately one hour. You will have three weeks to complete your appraisals. Submissions will not be blinded, but you will receive out-of-province submissions for review.

The Awards Committee makes every effort to match projects to an appraiser's area of expertise. If appraisers with expertise in the specific topic area of a submission are not available, you may receive a submission for appraisal that is outside your area of expertise. If you do not think you can adequately review the submission, you may decline the review.

If you would like more information, please refer to our Frequently Asked Questions.

  • Advanced Pharmacy Practice Residency Award

-For graduates from PGY2 residency programs-
  • CSHP is seeking award appraisers for the Advanced Pharmacy Practice Residency Award (for residents in Year 2 programs). Appraisers play a vital role in selecting this year’s award‑winning projects and in recognizing excellence in healthcare‑systems pharmacy practice. If you are interested in contributing to this important work, we invite you to submit your name as an appraiser.

Submissions will be appraised in May.

  • Appraisers should be current CSHP members with advanced formal training through a PGY2 residency or a post-bacclaureate PharmD program. You may be assigned up to three submissions to review. Each appraisal is estimated to require approximately one hour, and you will have three weeks to complete all assigned reviews.

Applicants were required to submit a manuscript describing their residency project. Submissions will not be blinded; however, you will only receive out‑of‑province submissions to avoid conflicts of interest.

Please indicate below the area(s) in which you are able to review. If you are a first‑time reviewer, you may be asked to provide a copy of your CV.
