Overview
This year's Holiday Market in downtown Albany will be held on December 6 and 7 at Union Station, 575 Broadway. The Hot Chocolate Stroll, which attracts 750-1,000 guests, will take place in conjunction with the market on December 7.
Guests of the market can enjoy spectacular holiday shopping with local vendors, live music, hot chocolate, holiday decorations, and more in the newly re-imagined, spectacular setting of historic Union Station at 575 Broadway in downtown Albany.
We are currently accepting applications from vendors for Friday, December 6, and Saturday, December 7. The fee to vend is $35, and includes both markets and 2 tables. Vendors may opt to sign up for both markets, or just one.

Applying for the market
The Downtown Albany BID is currently seeking applications from artists, makers, merchants, bakers, and other businesses selling items that are appropriate for a family-friendly holiday market. Please complete the application process below by 12:00 PM Noon on Wednesday, November 20 to be considered for the market.
All applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis by the Downtown Albany BID, and subject to a juried selection process.
Vendors who submit their applications by 12:00 PM Noon on November 6 will be notified of their approval status by 5:00 PM on November 8 or sooner.
Vendors who submit their applications November 20 will be notified of their approval status by 5:00 PM on Friday, November 22 or sooner.
Participating in the market
This is an indoor market, so tents are not necessary. Tables will be provided. Vendors must supply their own:
- Chair(s)
- Table Linens for one (1) 8' table and one (1) 6' table (floor length or stretch fabric recommended)
- Signage or display showing at a minimum, the name of vendor's business
- Extension cord(s) if using
- Any other equipment or staff necessary to set up and operate vendor's booth.
The fee to vend is $35. All booths consist of an 8' rectangular table and a 6' rectangular table configured together in an L-shape, creating a 10' by 6' space with 16' of frontage.
