The BIG Plant Expo 2025- Jr. Influencer Application

We are excited to welcome budding plant enthusiasts! We want to grow together! Come and meet some of your favorite plant vendors and influencers behind the scenes.

Jr. Influencer Minimum Stats:

Ages 13-18 with parent permisssion
Must have created new and original content within the last 10 days regarding plants and/or plant related content
Must have a plant or plant related audience- be enthuastic to grow and learn.

Jr. Influencer Agrees:

Starting January 2025, Post on all socials once a month every month leading up to the Expo, Can be a flyer or prerecorded content.

Starting May 1 2025 Post twice a month getting the public hyped about going to the Expo. (1) video and (1) post with all event details.
Live content Friday setup. (1) 20 second video or (1) 20 sec. edited video

LICENSING INFORMATION It is your responsibility to obtain the necessary licenses and insurances for your business to operate with the State of South Carolina. City of Columbia. Including but not limited to, a business license, retail license, Clemson Ext Nursey Cert. (out of state vendors, your states equivalent) As well as pay the appropriate/ associated taxes. SE Rare Plant Market, LLP or any Affiliate Events held by Se Rare Plant Market, LLP IS NOT responsible for any of your business liability, taxes, or fees. You ONLY need a Columbia, SC retail license if you have or will have vended within Columbia city limits 4 times. This event would be considered 2 as it's a 2-day event. Otherwise, no license is required.*

Perk #4 Two (2) free tickets to the After Party dinner. Party is open to the public who have purchased tickets. Party to immediately follow the first day of expo (Saturday) from 6-10PM and will be held at SC State Fairgrounds-Rosewood Ballroom. Entrance includes dinner. MUST be accompanied by your parent or Guardian. Will you be attending?*

1. Your application does not guarantee entry. We focus on rare and uncommon indoor and outdoor plants, plant supplies, any products considered "planty", and homemade artisan vendors. We curate our events to meet the needs of our local community and offer a variety of vendors.

2. This is a 2-day event, if you have a booth you must commit to both days. Set up is Friday, July 25th 12-9PM (everyone is required to leave at 9PM or earlier so the venue can be locked down and secured). NO EXCEPTIONS.

Jr. Influencers- We will have a 20 x 60 area set up (see layout below for reference) for the Influencer area, designed with jungle boujie in mind. For you to relax, do meet and greets and take pictures. ect.

3. All Jr. Influencers are required to be at the event/booth at 8:00AM for VIP shopping on Saturday. VIP shopping is from 8-10AM. The expo opens to the public at 10AM both days.

4.. All Jr. influencers are required to post on all their social media platforms about the event, minimum once a month 6 month prior to the event. Must have live content during the event. See above for outlined expectations.

5. As an Jr. influencer you agree to keep and maintain a good, professional working relationship within the SE Rare Plant Market community and the public. We want fun, happy, exciting vibes, we work hard to maintain a great working relationship with our plant community, and want to keep the upbeat, happy, sharing, loving community South Carolina is!

6. All staff working a Jr. influencer booth, are required to wear an expo badge. Each influencer must be present to collect their badges for their spot and staff. No badges will be given out otherwise. You may purchase extra badges if you need more than your package allotment.

7. All "guests" of Jr. influencers coming into the expo, whether doing business, family visiting, customers who have pre purchased products and are picking up, must pay admission to be admitted into the expo.

SE Rare Plant market, LLP and its affiliate partners reserve the right to remove you as an influencer if you choose to not follow any of the above application guidelines.
