1. If the event takes place outside regular business hours (8am – 5pm), access to UCF Global or Barbara Ying Center and assigned rooms will be provided through UCF ID cards. The primary and/or secondary contact will be given access and must remain at the event at
2. Reserved rooms may be accessed at the reservation start time, and are expected to be vacated by the reservation end time. This includes preparation and breakdown/cleaning time.
3. Cancellations must be submitted by email or phone no later than 48 hours prior to the beginning of the event. UCF Global has the right to assess fees for any committed resources if the cancellation policy is violated.
4. Event organizers may move furniture, but are responsible to return the rooms to their original setup. Additionally, they must clean all used spaces, and turn the multimedia equipment off. Rooms must be left in the exact condition as they were found.
5. Do not affix anything to the walls, floors, doors, and/or ceiling by any means.
6. Equipment for cooking food is not permitted in any of the rooms.
7. Fees will be assessed for any rooms that are not left in their original setup, any damage to the facilities, and/or housekeeping needs to bring the rooms to their original condition.
8. A SAFE form may be required for certain events. Please, visit http://safe.sdes.ucf.edu/ to determine if your event requires you to submit a SAFE form.
9. Depending on the complexity of the event you may be required to provide additional documentation, such as an event agenda and/or furniture layout.
10. UCF Global exterior building doors must remain closed during the event. Propping exterior doors open is strictly prohibited.
11. UCF Global will not provide any additional furniture, equipment, or technical support.
12. The sound and/or volume of the activities/events cannot be excessive or disturb members of the UCF community. UCF Global has the right to terminate any activity or event for noise violations.
13. All RSOs requesting reservations, must fall under the "cultural/ethnic/international" category as determined by the Office of Student Involvement. IF A RSO DOES NOT FALL UNDER THIS CATEGORY, IT MUST SUBMIT SUPPLEMENTAL DOCUMENTATION TO
DEMONSTRATE THAT THE PROMOTION OF CULTURAL AWARENESS AND/OR DIVERSITY IS PART OF ITS MISSION AND/OR GOALS.
