Classes

Kids 5-10 years | Youth 11-15 years | Teen 13-19 years | Adult 16+ years. Prior experience required for some classes. Payments vary by class length and age. An invoice will be sent to you once you have enrolled. Please pay with in 10 days of receiving invoice or contact the Circus Trust to make alternative arrangments.

Participation Waiver

I understand that circus training is fun but can also be challenging and carries certain unavoidable risks, such as bruises, friction burns, and discomfort. I recognize the serious risks involved and waive all liability for sprains, fractures, paralysis, broken bones, psychological distress, and other serious injuries. The Christchurch Circus Trust provides training for my/my child's benefit, and participation is a conscious choice. While instructors strive to create a safe environment, accidents can still occur. I accept full responsibility for any personal injuries and hereby waive and release the Christchurch Circus Trust from any liability for injuries or damages resulting from my/my child’s participation.

I understand
Physical interaction and assistance, such as spotting and partner exercises, will occur in classes. Participants uncomfortable with physical contact should inform their instructor for possible adaptations. However, if adaptations cannot be made, the participant understands they may not be able to fully participate for safety reasons. Physical assistance may be needed at times for safety, and this may not always be predictable or avoidable.

I understand that the Christchurch Circus Trust fosters an inclusive, respectful, and non-judgmental environment, and this is expected from all students and families. As a student, I am responsible for myself/my child and acknowledge that bullying, as well as the use of alcohol or drugs before or during classes, is unacceptable. Additionally, I will wear appropriate clothing (snug-fitting, without zippers or buttons) and remove or tape over jewelry and piercings before class.

I have read and understood the Participation Waiver. I agree to it on behalf of myself/my child and will not hold the Christchurch Circus Trust liable for injuries that occur under their supervision. I understand that if I choose not to agree to the Participation Waiver, the Christchurch Circus Trust will choose not to accept my enrollement in their classes.
