The Winter International Committee, in conjunction with the Dogs SA Grooming Advisory, is delighted to announce another first with the Inaugural Canine Grooming Championship Show to be held on Wednesday 28 May 2025. It will feature two overseas Judges for the event.

Selecting Your Entry Level

Which level do you wish to enter for the Morning (AM) session?*
Please note to enter A+ Level, you must hold the A+ Champion Canine Groomer title from Dogs Australia or an equivalent National Canine Organisation (NCO ) qualification approved by the DA National Grooming Committee.

In the Asian Fusion competition, there is only one level, meaning it's open to all—there are no beginner, intermediate, Advanced or Champion level. Every competitor competes at the same level in this single-class event. *

How long have you been grooming dogs?*
You are required to declare the date of your First Full Grooming experience.*
First Full Groom (FFG) Experience
Your grooming experience officially begins from your First Full Groom (FFG) — the first time you independently completed a full groom on any breed without supervision or direct assistance. This marks the starting point of your professional grooming experience.

Please note: Any grooming completed as part of TAFE training or Grooming school while under the guidance of a trainer or mentor does not count towards your FFG.
