Providing false or misleading information in the application will result in accredited member status being withdrawn and a ban from reapplying for 5 years.

    Please note that acceptance of the following conditions is required for accreditation of the Coach Training Programme. The person from your organisation making the application must be authorised to enter into a legally binding agreement and carefully consider all applicant guidance.
  • I confirm that the coach training programme will be advertised and delivered as described in the application and supporting documents.*
  • I confirm that the Universal Coaching Alliance will be informed of any changes in content, delivery, assessment, or other changes that result in the programme significantly diverging from its description in this application and supporting documents.*

  • I will ensure that, where applicable, appropriate health and safety policies are available and implemented for this training programme.*

  • 🏁 Professional Conversation

    How to prepare for the final part of the Application Process: your Professional Conversation with a UCA Assessor.
  • The final part of the UCA Coach Training Provider Accreditation Process is to have a 20 minute Professional Conversation with a UCA Assessor.

    The purpose of the conversation is to give you the opportunity to:

    • Elaborate on any areas of your application that the Assessors feel need further clarification
    • Share how your participants are supported in their learning and development
    • Describe how your training programme encompassess competencies and ethics

    You will be asked to provide the following information:

    1. What support is given to your participants
    2. Describe a typical supervision session participant's experience
    3. Share how competencies and ethics are covered in your training programme
    4. How do you ensure that participants who complete your training programme are fit to practise?

    You will be contacted within 14 days of submission of your application to arrange your Professional Conversation. These take place during the second week of each month with a panel of Assessors who have been highly trained in assessing  UCA applications.
