2. Eligibility

All applicants must meet the following criteria:

An unweighted grade point average of 3.0 or above
Accepted to Florida A&M University for the Summer or Fall 2026 semester(s).
Enrolled in or attended a public, private, charter, virtual, or home school in Orange County, Florida.

GATHER

(Transfer students)

Degree or Official college transcript (PDF format, must include official seal). Do not mail; upload only with application.
FAMU Acceptance Letter (Transfer Students Only)

(High School Seniors)

School counselor's email and phone number (including extension).
Official high school transcript (PDF format, must include official seal). Do not mail; upload only with application.
An official score report from the College Board for either ACT/ SAT/CLT.
FAMU acceptance letter.
Two letters of recommendation (One from a teacher and one from a community organization, church member, or employer).
Headshot: senior photo or cap and gown photo (jpg, jpeg, png)

authorize the FAMU National Alumni Association the right to take, edit, alter,
copy, exhibit, publish, distribute and make use of any and all pictures or video
taken of me by the FAMU National Alumni Association to be used in and/or for
legally promotional materials including, but not limited to, newsletters, flyers,
posters, brochures, advertisements, fundraising letters, annual reports, press kits and
submissions to journalists, websites, social networking sites and other print and
digital communications, without payment or any other consideration. This
authorization extends to all languages, media, formats, and markets now known or
hereafter devised. This authorization shall continue indefinitely.
I understand and agree that these materials shall become the property of the
FAMU National Alumni Association and will not be returned.
I hereby hold harmless, and release the FAMU National Alumni Association
from all liability, petitions, and causes of action which I, my heirs, representative,
executors, administrators, or any other persons may make while acting on my
behalf or on behalf of my estate.
