- APPLICATION PROCESS: Completing this application is the first step in the process to acquiring a dog/cat from Nico’s Mission, but it does not guarantee that my application will be pursued. We will review applications within 2 business days of receipt. Applications are processed in the order they are received.
  
  HOME INSPECTION: You will be asked to text and/or email pictures of your home.
  We ask for pictures of the typical living spaces that your new pet will have access to. We do not need pictures of personal spaces like closets even if your pet will have access to them.
  If you have a yard, please also provide pictures of the entire area to confirm that the yard is fenced in and that there are no areas that would pose a risk to the dog.
  Please also make sure to include a photo of your front door.
  If adopting a cat, all windows must have screens. Please include a picture of such.
  
  LEGAL CONTRACT: This application will also serve as your legal contract should you be approved to adopt this dog/cat.
  
  SPAY/NEUTER: We require you spay/neuter your dog/cat at or before 8 months of age if Nico’s Mission has not already done so.
- I understand that the animals of Nico’s Mission may have been treated for fleas, worms, skin infections (example: ringworm), and/or ear mites (just some examples) and that some of these medical conditions could reoccur. I understand that Nico’s Mission will no longer be medically responsible for ANY medical issues (pre-existing or not) at any point after the adoption. I also understand that at NO TIME will Nico’s Mission reimburse me (as the adopter) for any medical consults and/or treatments. I understand that Nico’s Mission is a NON-PROFIT Animal Rescue and my adoption fee is NON-REFUNDABLE (even upon a return of an adopted animal within 24 hours.)*
