Registration/Waitlist Process:

*Please note: Once a Camp/Seminar fills, a waitlist of up to five (5) teams will become available. If you would like to be added to a waitlist, please complete the registation form per the instructions below. Select the Camp/Seminar Waitlist for the event you would like to attend. To sign up for multiple waitlists, you will need to complete & submit a separate registration for each one. Please select the payment method you will use if you are offered a spot. Please *DO NOT* send any money until you are contacted by Katrina via text or email if/when a spot becomes available.*

1. Complete the online registration form for each handler/dog team. If you would like to register for multiple camps/seminars, please submit a separate registration form for each camp. If you would like to register multiple dogs for the same camp/seminar (each dog participating in all exercises), please submit a separate registration form for each dog. 

2. Payment is due at time of registration. If mailing a check, payment is due within 7 days of acceptance into camp. Immediately upon submitting your registration, you will receive an email confirming your registration.

3. Payment via Zelle or Venmo to 630.251.1557 is preferred. Checks also accepted when communicated in advance and received within 7 days of camp registration. 

4. You will receive a separate email confirming each registration and the information you provided. PLEASE VERIFY THE INFORMATION YOU PROVIDED. THE EMAIL IS YOUR CONFIRMATION THAT YOU ARE REGISTERED FOR CAMP. PAYMENT IS DUE IMMEDIATELY.

5. Complete the Agility Participant and Liability Release & Waiver located on the On Course Agility website. *Until this form is completed and signed, your spot is camp is not guaranteed, even with the email confirmation. Please complete this form when you register for Camp.*

6. Email or text Katrina Walters at oncourseseminars@gmail.com or 813.957.5797 with questions. 

7. Communications regarding camp will come from Katrina via oncourseseminars@gmail.com and also from Mail Chimp. Please add this email to your contacts so that you do not miss any important communications or updates. Handlers are responsible for checking their spam/junk folders for communications.  

Camp Overview:

1. Camps and seminars are limited to 9 handler/dog teams per instructor. 

2. Camps 1, 2, and 3 will use jumps, tunnels, weaves and contact equipment.

3. Handling Camp 1 will focus on skill development and will include sequences and handling skills seen at the highest levels of competition in the United States.

4. Coursework Camps 2 and 3 will include coursework seen at the highest levels of competition in the United States.

5. Young/Intermediate Dog Seminars 1, 2, and 3 will ONLY use jumps and tunnels. EACH YOUNG DOG SEMINAR WILL BE A UNIQUE EVENT FEATURING UNIQUE SEQUENCES. A team could attend all three young dog seminars without duplicating their experience.

6. You may bring multiple dogs and trade off throughout the day, but each handler may only work with one dog during each turn, unless the handler has paid for multiple spots in the camp.

7. All handler/dog teams will receive equal instruction time, and turns will be timed to ensure fairness. Handlers will spend one day with each instructor. Seminar handlers will spend 1/2 of the day with each instructor.

8. The agility field is not fully fenced, and there may be horses in the adjacent field from the nearby surgical center. 

9. This is a no-frills camp and will take place rain or shine. Camp starts at 9am and ends at 5pm, with a one hour break for lunch. Bring your own chair, crate, mats, food, drinks, snacks, dog treats, etc. 

10. There are restaurants nearby if you wish to leave for lunch. However, we do not encourage this as entering and leaving the facility may take substantial time as does negotiating Brandon traffic, even for the restaurants nearby. Experience tells us that you are better off packing a lunch, snacks and plenty of fluids.

Pricing: 

Camps 1, 2, and 3: $475 for Both Days
Payment due upon registration.

Young/Intermediate Dog Seminars 1, 2, and 3: $225
Payment due upon registration.

Cancellation Policy

Handlers may not sell or share their spot(s) in any Camp, for any reason, without prior written approval. 

On Course Agility reserves the right to cancel a handler's camp registration(s) at any time in return for a full refund. 

Before December 1, 2024:
Fees will be refunded except for $100 (Camp) or $50 (Seminar) administrative fee. 

As of December 1, 2024:
No refunds or credits toward future events will be made unless your spot can be filled. If your spot can be filled from our waiting list, fees will be refunded except for $100 (Camp) or $50 (Seminar) administrative fee. 

It is critical that you read this policy carefully as there are NO exceptions to our cancellation policy other than being called to active military duty. 

As much as we care about all of our customers and their dogs, and we are extremely pained when we hear of either personal or canine tragedies, seminars are a business. We cannot keep running seminars if costs are greater than income and labor expended. We budget and hire instructors for seminars based on being able to fill an exact number of spots. The instructors and the facility do not care how many people ultimately attend camp - they charge the same amount of money no matter what. We had to develop a cancellation policy that takes this into consideration and that treats everyone equally. We do not make exceptions to this policy as it is impossible to judge whether one person's emergency is more important and more deserving of a refund or credit than the next person's. We do the best we can to maintain an active waiting list, but we cannot guarantee that there will be a waiting list if you must cancel.
