We are so pleased that you are applying for Youth Forum 2025! Thank you for your interest. Northern Spirit is able to send up to six young people, ages 15-25 to this gathering of 100 youth that will take place as part of General Council 45 of The United Church of Canada.

The United Church of Canada has commitments to becoming anti-racist and encouraging equity and diversity amongst leadership and participants at all levels of the church. Youth Forum at GC45 will live into these commitments by ensuring that over half of our leadership and participants will be racialized and/or Indigenous as well, ensuring participation and leadership from other equity identities including but not limited to, persons with disabilities, those in the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, those whose primary language is not English, etc. Identity is complicated.   - Youth Forum Online - Sunday, April 6, 4-6 pm EST - This will be an opportunity to meet and connect with other youth forum delegates before the first meeting with all the General Council participants.
  - GC45 Gatherings
    
    Sunday April 27 4-7 pm EST - orientation to General Council Sunday, June 22 4 - 7 pm EST - Opening of General Council
    
    Saturday June 28 - 11-2 and 4-7 EST - Learning and Discussion Sessions
- IN PERSON Youth Forum Gathering in Calgary - August 5-12, 2025 Accommodation, travel, food and supply costs will be covered for all of the events listed above
