2025 Hizon Foundation Teacher Grant - Now Open for Applications!
The Hizon Foundation is excited to announce its 2025 Teacher Grant, aimed at supporting K-12 educators globally in enhancing STEM, social-emotional learning (SEL), and arts education. These grants are designed to empower teachers working in underserved communities, providing them with resources to create engaging and impactful learning experiences.
Grant Details:
Grant Amount: $500 per teacher
Eligibility: Open to K-12 public school teachers worldwide
Focus Areas: Projects that enhance STEM, SEL, or art education
Grant Programs:
STEM & Art Education Grant
This grant supports teachers dedicated to innovative STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and art projects, especially in rural or low-income communities. Funds can be used for hands-on science activities, art installations, or other creative projects that enhance student engagement.
Social Emotional Learning (SEL) Grant
This grant focuses on supporting educators who are committed to fostering emotional awareness, resilience, and interpersonal skills in students. Funds can be used for activities like mindfulness exercises, peer support programs, and other initiatives that promote students' mental and emotional development.

Finalist Interviews: January 25-26, 2025
Recipients Announced: February 14, 2025
Additional Incentive: Teachers demonstrating a sustainable plan to continue their project beyond the grant period may apply for an additional sustainability bonus of up to $200.
