    Team competition sport at Blackwood Primary School offers your child an opportunity to build skills, meet with friends and have fun in a relaxed atmosphere. Our teams are coached and run mostly by parent/caregiver volunteers.

    This competitive sport is offered to any student who is turning 8 or older in 2025 or is in Year 3 or above.

    All sports have varying fees to cover the cost of registration, uniforms and equipment. The fees will be required to be paid early in 2025 through the QKR App or BPOINT access through the link on the last page. A no payment no registration or play policy will be enforced.

    Basketball & Cricket FRIDAY 7th FEBURARY 2025 by 11am

    Soccer & Netball FRIDAY 7th MARCH 2025by 11am

    It is really important to enrol by these dates as team nominations are entered based on the number of registrations received. If this form is not completed by the closing date your child may miss out on a team or we may be too late to nominate a team.

    In order for school sport to go ahead, we really appreciate the support of parent/caregivers to help coach and co-ordinate. Please indicate below if you are willing to assist in these roles.

                                                    Basketball

      Basketball will be offered in Terms 1, 2, 3 and 4 at Blackwood Primary School in 2025.

      Weekly Fees - Fees are due to be paid in 2025 prior to games commencing.

      In addition to the annual $35 fee you are required to pay the school, there is also a player game fee of $60 per term ($240 per annum) to be paid directly to the School at the beginning of each term which will cover the weekly fee, per player at the Rec Centre.

      Teams: Various age groups will be offered depending on numbers.

      Basketball is played at the Blackwood Recreational Centre located next to the High School.

      Games are at appointed times after school on varying days throughout the week. Fixtures with the times will be confirmed once the season begins.

      Practice is held at a time that the coach decides.

    • Cricket

      Cricket is offered in Term 1 and Term 4 at Blackwood Primary School in 2025.

      Cricket cost: Please see below. Fees are to be paid in 2025 prior to games commencing. 

      Master Blasters - Year 2/3 - $70 to BPS

      A Grade - Year 6 - $70 to BPS

      B Grade - Year 5 - $70 to BPS

      C Grade - Year 4 - $70 to BPS

      Teams: Year Levels may combine depending on numbers of players that register.

      Games are played at BPS home ground and other various local schools.

      Times vary from 8:30am - 12 Noon

      Practice held after school. Day is decided by coach.

               

       

       

    • Netball 

    •                                                   NETBALL

      Netball is offered in Term 2 and Term 3 at Blackwood primary School in 2025.

      Netball Cost: $70 Fees are to be paid in 2025 prior to games commencing.

      Teams: Varying age groups are offered depending on numbers.

      Games are played at BPS home courts and other various local schools.

      Games are played on Saturday mornings.
      Times vary from 9am - 12 noon 

      Practice held after school. Day is decided by coach.

       

       

    • Soccer

      Soccer is offered in Term 2 and Term 3 at Blackwood primary School in 2024.

      Soccer Cost: $70 Fees are to be paid in 2025 prior to games commencing.

      Teams: Varying age groups will be offered depending on numbers.
       Under 9, Under 10, Under 11 and Senior

      Matches are played at BPS home ground and other various local schools.

      Matches are played on Saturday mornings.
      Times vary from 8.30am – 12.00 noon.

      Practice is held after school. Day is decided by coach.

  • Should the emergency contacts not be reached and in the event of a serious injury, your child will be taken to hospital in an ambulance.
